In New York City, leaks are a big issue for many buildings. Often, patch jobs will be done but won’t address the full extent of the issue. This means that your contractor is constantly returning to the building to reevaluate the real problem. Some buildings decide that, instead of only staying one step ahead of the leaks, they will simply sink money into the problem by redoing the entire façade or roof. While this will fix the leaks, it is costly and, most likely, unnecessary.
